Nature inspires our lives and our designs at Dillon/Rose and we decided a few months ago that we want time spent in nature to be part of the culture we create together as a team.

When asked to be one of the artists for an upcoming show at Ligget Studio in Tulsa, OK I knew I would be leaning into my relationship with the honey bee. The theme of the show is an exploration of our relationship with the changing climate.

From within the earth where invisible forces work, emerge delicate bodies. Vast networks connect death and life, decay is transformed into new birth, regeneration. What we see above ground is but a small part, the end really, of this death and life cycle.

It Was Always Us! A show about about reciprocal relationships, platforming decentralized knowledge (knowledge that comes from outside of academia or institutional spaces, especially cultural and social), and the importance of collective/collaborative creativity.

Join us and The Nature Conservancy in supporting public land initiatives and letting our legislators know how much we value the natural public lands in OK. Just over 6% of Oklahoma’s land is for the public to fish, camp, hunt, hike, watch wildlife and graze livestock.
