    When working with one-of-a-kind stones, the stone always influences the final design. Sometimes it's a pattern or creature I see within the gem that inspires the design, sometimes it's the way it's been cut or carved by the lapidarist.     I was 18 years old on a cross country motorcycle trip when Seth Dillon, my past and current crush, recommended I stop at his uncle's place in Illinois.
