Summer solstice is here!
Throughout the spring, you’ve been planting seeds; starting projects, making ready for warmer weather and embarking on new beginnings. Now, as the longest day of the year approaches, we use that bright summer sunshine and prepare to see what those seeds have grown into.
Summer solstice (or Midsummer) has historically marked the beginning of the most bountiful season, one that comes with abundance and beauty. Our ancestors cultivated the land through the spring to allow themselves rest and even a period of comfortable ease by the time summer solstice arrived.
A moment of bright energy, the summer solstice is a reminder to bask in the beauty around us. We feel immense gratitude for this time of light, growth and playful fun.
Honor all the love, light, and pleasure of earthly existence now. Be present for this season of power and vitality, revel in it.
