Our commitment to environmental stewardship
We were lost without cell reception when I came upon this view of a foggy valley floor in New Mexico. Our destination was hot springs, which after hiking for a while we discovered were on the other side of the valley. We had taken the wrong turn on unmarked dirt roads and knew (with our 2 kids in tow) we wouldn't have time to hike all the way back to the car and find the right road before afternoon monsoons made the way impassable. Luckily, we found backcountry campers that pointed us toward an unmarked trail that took us down to the valley floor and across to the hot springs, which we enjoyed for the remainder of the morning (pics below). It's easy to forget the feeling of frustration and stress pulsing through my veins moments before I took this picture, because when I paused for a few minutes to capture it, all went calm within me.
Natures' grandeur often springs me into honest perception. Stars remind me that my world spins in relation to a galaxy much grander than the work in front of me. Creeks help me lay down burdensome thoughts and concerns, mountains and cliffs place me correctly, small and insignificant in size. Mossy forest floors caress my skin, no matter my imperfect complexion. Nature serves us truth, unfiltered, objective, unbiased truth. That's why I call her mother, she nurtures my spirit with her truth; my body with her nutrients.

Respect for nature and care of our planet is a pillar of our business and personal lives. We give at least 1% back to the planet with our 1% For the Planet Membership. The 3 organizations we are committed to supporting with our giving are the Sutton Avian Research Center, The Conservation Coalition of Oklahoma and the Nature Conservancy.
We took this bison picture last spring at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, one of the partners we support through the Nature Conservancy. 1% doesn't sound like a lot, but most companies struggle to make over 5% actual profit. We give 1% of our gross sales, meaning regardless of actual profit we are giving based on the overall economic footprint of our studio. We are one of only 3 businesses making this pledge in Oklahoma. Every year it feels like a lot to give on our part, but it's important to live our values and nurture that which feeds our creative spirits.
Our jewelry features recycled gold, sterling silver and conflict-free natural stones.

A series of rings inspired by the flowing nature of water accented with gemstones, both raw and cut, highlighting natures beauty.
